China, protesting Huawei executive's detention, says it summoned US ambassador



Chinese officials on Sunday said the country summoned the U.S. ambassador to Beijing on Sunday to protest the detention of an executive of Chinese electronics giant Huawei in Canada at Washington’s behest — a detention that has rattled U.S.-China relations and spooked global financial markets.
